Mixam price retriever
The Mixam retriever pulls live print quote data so you can ground your unit-cost assumptions in real supplier pricing.
Quick flow
- Select region, product, copies, and page count.
- Choose size, orientation, binding, and stock options.
- Request quote and review normalized offer table.
- Apply the best-fit offer to unit cost in the calculator.
- Save draft so quote assumptions remain attached to your application.
What it does
From the application page, you can configure product details and request pricing from Mixam. Jomo then displays normalized quote offers you can compare and optionally use to update your calculator.
Quote parameters you control
- Region and currency context
- Product type and copies
- Page count and page-rule compliance
- Size, orientation, and binding
- Paper stock, color mode, and lamination options
How results are used
- Offers are displayed in a comparison table.
- You can apply an offer directly as a unit-cost input.
- The selected assumptions can be persisted with your draft.
How to evaluate offers
- Look beyond unit price: compare total cost at realistic copy counts.
- Check constraints: some options force page-count or binding changes.
- Test at two volumes: identify where breakpoints materially improve cost.
- Use conservative assumptions: base your goal on likely, not best-case, runs.
Operational notes
- Quotes are estimates and may change with supplier-side pricing updates.
- Page and product constraints vary by region and product metadata.
- Always sanity-check with a direct supplier checkout before finalizing print spend.
Troubleshooting
- No offers returned: switch region/product pair and retry with valid page rules.
- Quote looks too high: test stock, color mode, and binding alternatives.
- Metadata loading issues: reselect product and wait for options to repopulate.
- Inconsistent comparison: keep page count and copies fixed between runs.
Best practices
- Run quotes for at least two copy volumes to understand slope and breakpoints.
- Compare stock/binding combinations before locking your reward pricing.
- Feed chosen quote values into the funding goal calculator, then re-test margin.
